Support Comes with the Study Aid

Instructions on accessing your Study Aids is posted in Using Purchased Study Aids. Review the instructions prior to downloading your software. 

If you are unable to access your Study Aids on your own then additional complementary support is available.  Please e-mail us a description of what is happening, and we will contact you to arrange a time when you will be at your computer and available for phone support. Remember that our software is not compatible with MAC computers.

An AIT Exam Prep instructor is available to address quick questions you may have regarding Study Aids.  Please e-mail your questions, and answers will be returned by phone or e-mail depending on the situation (please leave both a work and cell phone contact number).

Tutoring

For those not interested in taking a review class but are studying on your own you may want to take advantage of one of our support offerings.

Private Tutoring

An AIT Exam Prep instructor can assist students with private tutoring, questions and/or the development of a study schedule. This option is particularly helpful for students using only Study Aids to prepare for an exam versus an exam review class and Study Aids together.

One of our instructors can assist you up to 60 minutes by phone or e-mail at an hourly rate of $120.00.  Additional support is available at the hourly rate.  People opt for this plan to fine tune studying, to review material prior to their test and to clarify questions from Study Aids.  It helps to have a reliable resource to clarify questions and make sure you are on the right path to success.  (Refer to our Private Tutoring page for more details.)

Private instruction is available for the entire exam review class or segments of the exam review class.  Please e-mail us indicating which class you are interested in.

Group Tutoring

An AIT Exam Prep instructor can assist students in preparing for their licensure exams during a group session held through distance learning.  A licensed instructor will hold a question-and-answer period allowing AIT’s to ask questions about exam material and lead a group discussion with all participants in the conference call.  Hearing questions from other AIT’s and having active discussion about experiences can give insight and knowledge not gained when studying alone.  Students who have taken an exam review class or have studied on their own with or without our Study Aids can benefit from this group session.  

Exam material covered in the call will be Title 22, Chapters 2.5, 3 and 4 for the California Exam session and the five domains for the National Exam session.  The session will be 2 hours in length.  Each student will receive an e-mail the day prior to the session containing log-in and call-in information.  If an e-mail address needs to remain confidential please note that on your registration information when completing check out of the shopping cart.  The fee for this session will be $75.00.  (Refer to our Group Tutoring page for more details.)

OBRA Review

An AIT Exam Prep instructor will explain to you what core information you need and where to get it for both the California and National exams.   A licensed instructor will hold a question-and-answer period allowing AIT’s to ask questions about exam material and lead a group discussion with all participants in the conference call.  Hearing questions from other AIT’s and having active discussion about experiences can give insight and knowledge not gained when studying alone.  Students who have taken an exam review class or have studied on their own with or without our Study Aids can benefit from this group session.

Exam material covered in the call will be OBRA's Survey Process and OBRA's F-tags.  The session will be 45 minutes in length.  Each student will receive an e-mail the day prior to the session containing log-in and call-in information.  If an e-mail address needs to remain confidential please note that on your registration information when completing check out of the shopping cart.  The fee for this session will be $45.00.  (Refer to our OBRA Review page for more details.)

1000 Hour Outline

An AIT Exam Prep instructor can assist AIT’s develop their required 1000 hour outline.  An interview will be set up with the AIT to discuss his/her experience and education and together an outline will be created to maximize training time. (Refer to our 1000 Hour Outline page for more details.)
